Charlotte Triebus works as a performance artist and multidisciplinary art director. The focus of her work is to investigate the potential of the intersections of art, dance and technology. Her works and performances have been shown in numerous national and international exhibitions. In 2018 she founded the New Human Body Society. Charlotte lives in Köln, D and Madrid, ESP.

Charlotte co-leads the artistic research department of Mirevi Lab (Hochschule DüsseldorfInnovationshub Düsseldorf), and is an associated member of several international research teams investigating the intersections of contemporary dance and technology.
She is regularly invited to lead interdisciplinary projects as a guest lecturer in the department of Designtheory and -research at Köln International School of Design and with students for the University for Music and Dance Köln in the department of Electronic Composition. She has been invited to Folkwang University, Academy of Media Arts Cologne, UdK Berlin and University Osnabrück, Faculty of Music to realize several projects together with students of different creative programs.

Education

Charlotte completed her postgraduate studies (MFA) of Fine Arts in Performance at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne with excellence. In 2014 Charlotte graduated with excellence in the area of experimental design and identity after studying the Integrated Design program at Köln International School of Design and Dance Studies program at University for Music and Dance Köln (HfMT Köln). During her studies she spent a year in Sweden, followed by freelancing for the innovation agency IDEO.
